iPod Predictions

After reading different predictions and patents for the iPod, I've combined them to predict the next iPod. There are 4 stories that have brought this together for me. Number one is the biggest rumor I've heard about the iPod. It's the concept that the next iPod will be 16x9 and sideways with no buttons. All the buttons will be virtual and will be on the screen. My problem with this is the fingerprints that would be all over it. Steve Jobs would never approve of this. So how do you get around it? We'll come back to this in a minute. The second is the patent story about a camera that is inserted between pixels on the screen. Number three is the patent story about video conferencing. Number four is this "so called" leak about the "no touch" technology. This would solve the fingerprint problem. You have a video-conferencing, wi-fi, 16x9, no-button screen that has virtual buttons. Just like those "no touch" instruments you can play, it will sense your finger above the screen and you can use the buttons without getting your oily fingers on the screen.
